The name doesn't say it all but it pointed us in the right direction. "Wild Beasts" is fitting. We set out to create a blend that truly represented the answer to WHY BLENDS? The answer is Les Fauves. A coffee blend that is as wild as it is unique. We are colliding flavors by blending amazing coffees with distinct processes to unlock a totally new flavor profile. Matisse decided that painting wasn't merely for depicting reality. Our Les Fauves blend is showing us that a coffee blend can be as interesting as a single origin offering while staying consistently delicious every morning.

 

COLOMBIA CAMPOALEGRE

Producer: Iván Quinayas, owner of Finca Campoalegre

Region: village of Libano, in the Municipality of Pitalito in Huila Department of Colombia

Altitude: 1,705 masl

Variety: caturra

Preparation: fermented in water, then sun-dried

ETHIOPIA HAMBELA WAMENA

Producer: Aklilu and Biniam Kassa, owners of the Hambela Dimtu station

Region: Hambela Wamena lies between Gedeb and Uraga in the Guji zone of Ethiopia

Preparation: dry-processed

Tasting notes: lavender candy, melon, hops

COSTA RICA CORDILLERA DEL FUEGO

Producer: Luis Eduardo Campos, owner of Cordillera del Fuego

Region: Tarrazu, in the province of San Jose in Costa Rica

Altitude: 1,600 – 1,750 msal

Variety: caturra

Preparation: honey processed
