And...we found our Flowers. For the past year, we have been exploring the personality of our most floral, bright and tropical blend. She is sweet and floral without leaning sour. We are in love. We are sourcing an amazing selection of coffees throughout the seasons (each is strong enough to be a single origin offering) and blending them to provide the consistency that we love in this blend. The result is a coffee that stays true to the personality of Flowers and yet shows the movements of the seasons and the new offerings of the world's best coffee regions.

ETHIOPIA ALEMU BUKATO

Roaster’s notes: We find lovely tropical aromas of florals and sweet-tart fruits in the cup.

COLOMBIA LOS PINOS

Producer: Jorge Antonio Arboleda, owner of Finca Los Pinos

Region: village of San Carlos of the Antioquia Department of Colombia

Altitude: 2,100 masl

Variety: caturra

Preparation: pulped within hours of picking, then fermented and washed in stainless steel tanks for 48 hours and finally dried on raised beds

Tasting notes: pistachio, marzipan, green grape

Roaster’s notes: This lot is amazing in almost every way; sweet, elegant and clean flavors.

"Keeping true to the name, Alemu Bukato and Los Pinos are both very floral coffees, especially the Ethiopian and its more delicate roast profile. Since we also want some structure to the blend, the Los Pinos has a sturdy backbone and lovely pistachio notes that complement the floral and fruity acidity.” " - Marty Lopes, Roaster
